Sea Port Initiates Voluntary Recall with FDA for Philippine Scallops Produced on Nov. 23 and 24, 2015

Following a Hepatitis A outbreak in Hawaii that was traced back to their scallops by the CDC and Hawaii Dept of Public Health, Sea Port worked with the FDA to institute a voluntary recall in three states where the product was sold to restaurants: Hawaii, California, and Nevada. To date, health officials have not notified Sea Port of any illnesses in California or Nevada.
