Dip in Chilean Salmon Exports Offset by Higher Prices

Data according to InfoTrade says Chile’s salmon exports by volume through November fell short of last year but higher prices have total values of the shipments up 20 percent compared to 2015.
As of November InfoTrade is reporting Chilean export totals at around 452,000 metric tons of Atlantic salmon and other farmed salmon species. The figure represents a 14 percent decline in volume compared to the same time a year ago.
However, the value of the exports in 2016 according to InfoTrade is about US$3.3 billion, which is up over 3.5 percent from 2015 values...
