Westward Using New Alfa Laval Separator to Meet EPA Standards and Produce Fish Oil

Westward Seafoods has installed new Alfa Laval centrifugal separators to clean up stick water that comes from seafood processing.
Stickwater is a mixture of fish solids, fish oils, and water that is a byproduct of industrial fish processing, and which must be treated before discharge.
In the past a number of Alaskan fish plants have faced water discharge issues with the EPA.
