Sunset Review Fails to End US Shrimp Anti-Dumping Duties on China, India, Thailand and Vietnam

The US International Trade Commission (USITC) voted to continue anti-dumping duties at the conclusion of the most recent 5-year sunset review. The ITC upheld shrimp duties on China, India, Thailand and Vietnam, but dismissed them for Brazil which has abandoned the US shrimp market.
Few shrimp industry observers felt the commission would rule against the duties. The five year sunset review of the antidumping orders began in March 2016.
