China's JD.com Fresh Food Unit Inks Agreement with Norway for Salmon

Norway is the second largest seafood exporter worldwide and it has always aimed to further developed Chinese market. Its Minister of Fisheries has visited China together with the unprecedentedly large group of representatives recently in hope of raising its future seafood export volumes to China.
On June 21, the JD.com fresh food unit has officially inked a strategic agreement with Norwegian Seafood Council (NSC). This makes JD the first Chinese company to sign an agreement with Norway after the normalization of China-Norway ties.
