Oregon Officials Working on Disaster Aid for Salmon Fishermen

While West Coast salmon fishermen feel the pinch of either no Chinook season or a very limited one, state officials are working on disaster assistance.
In Oregon, staff from Gov. Kate Brown's Natural Resources Office said it is working on a Governor’s executive order directing state agencies to coordinate and focus existing services to assist people and communities affected by the 2017 South Coast ocean salmon fishing closure.
