Fish Around the Globe Will Face "Mounting Challenges" Due to Climate Change

Can fish survive climate change? That’s the big question posed in a new study from the University of Washington.
Researchers at the University of Washington studied physiological data to predict how nearly 3,000 fish species living in oceans and rivers will respond to warming water temperatures in different regions. The study, which was published on Nature Climate Change, found marine fish in the tropics and freshwater fish in higher latitudes of the Northern Hemisphere were the most at risk when water temperatures warmed.
