The Russian fish industry is on the verge of serious upheaval and realignment due to yesterday’s departure of Vladimir Miklushevsky, the governor of the Primorye region and one of the major figures in Russian domestic fish production.
The decision to fire Miklushevsky was personally taken by Russian President Vladimir Putin and the official reasons have not been disclosed.
