Atlantic Capes Puts Out Statement on Sinking of Their Clam Vessel F/V Misty Blue; 2 Crewmen Lost

Two fishermen are lost and presumed drowned after the Coast Guard suspended its search for survivors from the sinking of the Atlantic Capes Fisheries clam vessel Misty Blue.
In a statement yesterday, the company said it “sends its thoughts and prayers to the families and friends of two crewmembers who remain missing from our affiliated surf clam harvesting vessel, F/V Misty Blue, which was lost at sea while working off Nantucket Monday night.”
The two lost crew members are Michael Roberts, 44, and Jonathan Saraiva, 32, both of New Bedford.
Roberts wife Tammy Roberts has spoken often with the media, and her vigil was the subject of a story in the Boston Globe today.
