Richard Stavis Steps Down as CEO, as Stavis Brings in International Investor with Ties to Argentina

Richard Stavis is stepping down as CEO of Stavis Seafoods, as the company takes on IMV BV, of the Netherlands as a major investor.
IMV BV is a holding company headed by Joaquin Javier Guerrero Riveiro, an Argentinian born fishing entrepreneur who also has extensive ties to Galicia. Numerous subsidiary companies, some set up to own vessels, are listed under his name in Dutch corporate registration records. Michael Lynch, a spokesperson for Stavis, said the IMV BV person they are dealing with is Robert Wagschal in Amsterdam. His Linked in profile describes him as an 'Independent International Affairs Professional'.
