It is that time of the year to talk about Mahi. The fishing season in South America, which starts approximately every year around October, has been characterized in 2017-2018 by its erratic behavior according to many traders and producers overseas. This is relevant since Peru and Ecuador have been historically the largest producers of mahi commodities and exporters to the U.S. market.
