Russian Security Service Again Challenging Crab Quota Holders as Illegal Foreign Controlled Businesses

The Russian government, together with special services, plan to start a massive investigation of some recent reports published by Russian media about illegal re-sales of crab quotas to Chinese and South Korean dealers.
This is not the first time that the security services faction has gone after quota holders by accusing them of foreign business ties. They led a major campaign against pollock quota holders a few years ago, upending many companies associated with Pacific Andes.
