China International Marine Containers Raffles (CIMC) has recently signed a contract with Nordlask regarding building a transportable deepwater aquaculture boat named Nordlaks Havfarm 1 in Yantai, Shandong Province, China. It is said to be the largest and most advanced one worldwide and it can hold up to 10,000 tons of salmon.

The boat is 385 meters long, 59 meters wide and 65 meters high. There are six deep-water cages with a total water capacity of 440,000 cubic meters ...
