Today's Main Story: Seafood Expo North America; Major Snow Storm May Scramble Plans
Day one of Seafood Expo North America wrapped up on Sunday, March 11 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. Over 1,300 exhibitors from 57 countries filled the floor as attendees met, tried new products and watched demonstrations. Monday morning, a major snow storm warning for Boston has some show goers scrambling to change their plans. The latest National Weather Forecast is for 14 to 23 inches of snow in Boston on Tuesday. Ocean conditions off most of the U.S. West Coast are returning roughly to average, after an extreme marine heat wave from about 2014 to 2016 disrupted the California Current Ecosystem and shifted many species beyond their traditional range, according to a new report from NOAA Fisheries' two marine laboratories on the West Coast.
