Trinity Bay, Newfoundland mussel processor, Green Seafoods earns BAP certification

Green Seafoods Ltd.’s mussel processing plant in Newfoundland has earned the Global Aquaculture Alliance Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) certification.
In addition to BAP certification, Green Seafoods has also received Canadian Organic Certification for its mussel products.
Located on Trinity Bay, the facility is both a primary and secondary mussel processing plant, producing a variety of value-added ready-to-eat mussel products.
The company’s cooked frozen mussels are marketed to retail and foodservice customers worldwide under the Green Seafoods, High Liner Foods and other brands.
