NOAA Alaska Fisheries Center scientist Alan Haynie given top honor at White House

The White House honored Alaskan fishery scientist Alan Haynie, Ph.D, this week with its highest honor.
Haynie, who works with the NOAA's Alaska Fisheries Science Center, was honored with the Presidential Early Career Awards for Scientists and Engineers. The award is the highest honor given by the federal government to outstanding scientists and engineers in the early stages of their careers.
NOAA complmented Haynie as is a leader in creating and using economic tools to improve the management of our nation’s marine resources.
