Norwegians see golden age of cod as consumption, landings soar

According to figures from the Norwegian Seafood Council from 2012 to 2013 Norwegians bought 11 percent more fresh cod fillets and 24 percent more frozen fillets.
" The cod is becoming more available in the store and becoming easier to put on the family dinner table the same day. This results are that cod is coming in now, stronger and bigger than before. The cod is facing a golden age in Norway, and it will be very interesting to follow this development",
