Kroger's Longtime Senior Executive Lynn Marmer Announces Retirement

Kroger announced Thursday Lynn Marmer, its group vice president of corporate affairs, will retire early next year after 18 years with the company.
Marmer, 62, is the fifth senior Kroger executive among the 18 top managers to announce their retirement since CEO Rodney McMullen assumed the helm in January 2014. Her replacement will be named at a later date.
Named to the position in charge of everything from regulatory affairs and public relations to the Kroger Foundation in 1998, Marmer was the first female officer for the supermarket company. An attorney, she had joined the company’s legal department a year earlier...
