Romanian Seafood Processor Ocean Fish Expands in EU Markets

Romania’s fish and seafood processor Ocean Fish has unveiled plans to increase its workforce as a result of a higher demand for its products and plans by the firm to further expand its presence in the EU markets.
In addition to its sales in the domestic market, the Romanian company sells about 20% of its output in a number of foreign markets. These include Italy, Bulgaria and Moldova. Under the plan, the share of exports in the firm's revenues is to further grow this year, Adrian Nitica, the chief executive of Ocean Fish, told local business daily Ziarul Financiar.
In addition to salmon, which is the main product in the company's portfolio, Ocean Fish also processes and sells shrimp, herring, tuna, butterfish, caviar and mackerel...
