Hokkaido scallopers set to boost exports from plants in China

Massive amount of frozen scallops from the Funka Bay in Hokkaido were flowing over the belt conveyors at a seafood processing plant in Dalian, Liaoning Province, China.
The scallops were packed neatly after being cleaned and assorted by size by skilled workers.
The amount processed at this plant alone is 5,000 tons a year.
Said president of the company that employs about 200: "Scallops from the Funka Bay ....
