Hokkaido Land-Based Surimi Production Continued to Fall and Down 30% in July
According to a summary of land-based surimi produced in Hokkaido announced by the National Surimi Association, production in July remained sluggish for Alaska pollock surimi, and production fell below the same month of the previous year for five consecutive months. The cumulative decline from January to July has expanded from the previous month, remaining at a more than 10% lower than the same period of the previous year, reported Suisan Keizai.
