Western Pacific Council Rebukes Proposal to Expand Marine National Monument

Those are just two of the comments from Western Pacific Regional Fishery Management Council advisory bodies regarding the proposed expansion of the Pacific Remote Islands Marine National Monument, which includes several islands, atolls and reefs. Others said the proposal "lacked engagement with the territories, specifically American Samoa."
