ANALYSIS: China’s H1 Shrimp Imports Drop for Second Year Amid Economic Headwinds
During the first half of the year, China’s shrimp import volumes declined for the second consecutive year. According to data from the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC), shrimp imports in H1 2025 totaled 469,596 metric tons, representing a 2.8% year-over-year decrease.
