Port State Measures Treaty Enters into Force with Required Number of Signatures

The Port State Measures Agreement (PSMA) has been ratified by the minimum number of governments required for the treaty to be enforced. The international pact has widespread support for its approach to combat iIllegal, unregulated and unreported (IUU) fishing.
