Marine Harvest Cuts Chilean Salmon Output 50% Because of Algae Bloom; Lowest Production Since ISA

Marine Harvest’s Chilean production will drop 50 percent in 2016 because of an algae bloom that killed millions of farmed salmon in southern parts of Chile earlier this year. The projection makes Marine Harvest's Chilean operation the lowest producing subsidiary among the company's global network.
