Farmed Yellowtail King Fish Suddenly, Mysteriously Die During Trial in Western Australia

Yellowtail kingfish worth $200,000 farmed in a major aquaculture trial off the Geraldton coast have suddenly died, despite being healthy up until now.
After eight years of research, the $2 million staged project had been successfully producing fish for the Australian domestic market for five months.
Now more than half of the fish in the trial have died and others are continuing to perish.
The fish farm trial was commissioned to determine if it was commercially viable grow fish off Geraldton's coast, and its success had been attracting interest from overseas investors...
