Dungeness Crab Managers Agree to Open Washington, Part of Oregon on Jan. 15

West Coast crabbers got another lump of coal this week, as Tri-State fishery managers agreed to delay the season north of Point Arena, in California, again.
The primary commercial Dungeness crab fishery will open on most of Oregon’s coast on Jan. 15, 2018, according to an Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife press release. Dungeness crab will be ready to harvest from Cape Blanco to the Columbia River, and north into Washington.
