A mountain lion cub who sustained burns from the California wildfires is recovering thanks to tilapia skin.
The five-month-old cub was rescued from the Thomas Fire, which destroyed 273,400 acres in Southern California. All four of its paws sustained severe burns, however, staff at the UC David Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital have been helping the cub recover with sterilized tilapia skin.
