Report Calls Cooke Negligent in Net Pen Failure, May Hasten Demise of Salmon Farming in Puget Sound

The Washington state report on Cooke Aquaculture’s salmon net pen failure last year in Puget Sound is devastating. The report says Cooke was negligent in taking care of its net pens, and that a July 24th incident alerted them to the problem, yet they failed to take adequate protective measures.
