Russia Introduces New Strategy to Double Fish Export Revenue by 2024

Russia plans to double its revenue from the exports of fish products by 2024 - up to U.S. $8 billion, according to recent statements of the head of the Russian Fishery Agency (Rosrybolovstvo), Ilya Shestakov.

The increase will be primarily achieved through increased development of processing.

According to Shestakov, thanks to stable production, Rosrybolovstvo plans to focus on changing the structure of its exports by increasing the supply of value-added products ...
