Fifth Area 2A Halibut Opener Set for Next Week Off the West Coast
The International Pacific Halibut Commission has set vessel limits for a fifth halibut opener for fishermen in Area 2A -- where low attainments and low vessel limits have prevailed over most of the summer.
Fishermen will be able to set their gear at 8 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 17; the opening will close at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 19.
