FDA issues tolerance level for sea lice treatment residue for Atlantic salmon imports

The decision follows a petition for the tolerance level by Skretting Agricultural Research Center out of Norway.

In the end the FDA agreed on the 0.5 parts per million threshold; no environmental impact statement was required.
