SNP, Clinton Initiative promote seafood consumption as way to reduce heart disease in women

The Seafood Nutrition Partnership (SNP) has kickstarted another program to further its mission to promote more seafood consumption in the US; this time taking aim at promoting heart health among women through seafood.
At the 10th Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) Annual Meeting, the SNP announced the successful launch of a pilot program called Eating Heart Healthy: A Cardiovascular Risk Reduction Program for Women. The program is designed to help women understand and mitigate their risk of heart disease through a seafood-rich diet. The program was introduced as part of SNP’s Commitment to Action, a plan for addressing significant global challenges made by CGI members.
