Alaska is currently experiencing a shortage of fisheries technicians and fisheries biologists – a trend predicted to continue for at least the next 10 years. The University of Alaska Southeast fisheries technician program is providing anyone interested in the field to start studying from the comfort of their home to a remote job site thanks to their online accessibility.
