At-Sea Processor's Assoc. Donates 450,000 Pollock and Hake Servings to US Food Banks

SeaShare has announced that members of the At-Sea Processor's Association (APA) have donated 450,000 servings of pollock and hake to food banks across the country.
According to a blog post from SeaShare's Mary Harmon, the APA is an annual contributor to the charity, which specializes in providing high quality seafood protein to food insecure Americans.
The APA is an industry trade assocation that represents six companies that own and operate 16 U.S.-flag catcher/processor vessels that participate principally in the Alaska pollock fishery and west coast Pacific whiting fishery...
