West Coast CARES Act Update: Oregon Sees Some Funding While Other States Still Wait on Applications
Oregon seafood businesses will finally see some CARES Act funding. Final payments were scaled to a little more than 58 percent of original claims for the majority of applicants.
The Pacific States Marine Fisheries Commission and Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife had to review because more than 90 percent of the applications had errors or omissions, according to the Commission, causing significant delays in processing.
