ANALYSIS: May Shrimp Imports Decline for the First Time Since September 2021
With the release of May U.S. shrimp imports today, data showed a decline from the previous year for the first time since September 2021 and only the second time since late 2020. 165.154 million pounds was sent to the U.S., down 6.7 percent from last year.
