Fisheries Survival Fund Encourages NEFMC to Open Closed Scallop Areas Following New Research
Following the release of new research, the Fisheries Survival Fund (FSF) is encouraging the New England Fishery Management Council (NEFMC) to open currently closed scallop areas.
Commercial fishing activity in the Northern Edge of Georges Bank has been prohibited since 1994.
