Western Samoa Congresswoman Calls for United Stance on Pacific Ocean Fishing Limits
Congresswoman Uifa’atali Amata called on a united stance from the governors of American Samoa, CNMI, and Guam, as Governor Lemanu P.S. Mauga is heading to D.C. where a request has been made to meet with President Biden to discuss fishing limits in the Pacific.
Specifically, the meeting will focus on Biden’s plan to place 777,000 square miles of Pacific waters off limits to fishing.
