FFAW Signs Final Offer From ASP To Start 2023 Snow Crab Fishery
Snow crab harvesting in Newfoundland and Labrador will finally be underway after weeks at a standstill due to failed negotiation attempts between the Fish, Food & Allied Workers (FFAW) and the Association of Seafood Producers (ASP). The NL region quota of 54,279 MT for 2023 has been untouched since the season kicked off last month.
