CNA Issues Warning To Ecuador Shrimp Sector About Tax Reform Project
Ecuador’s National Chamber of Aquaculture (CNA) is warning the shrimp sector that changes are coming with the Tax Reform Project.
Late last month CNA notified industry members about the National Assembly’s “Law of Economic Efficiency and Employment Generation,” which creates a new sales tax. According to CNA, this new tax could decrease working capital and subtract liquidity from the entire value chain.
