Hokkaido Land-based Surimi Production in June Up 84%
The National Surimi Association announced on July 25 that Hokkaido land-based surimi production in June 2024 was 1,575 tons, 84% higher than last year. According to Kamaboko News, this was broken down into 1,553 tons of Alaska pollock surimi, 108% higher than last year, and 12 tons of Atka mackerel surimi, 89% lower than last year.
