The EU is seriously discussing restrictions of fish imports from Russia. The measure could become a part of a new package of anti-Russian sanctions, and may include expanded restrictions, reports the German publication Die Welt. Two years ago, the EU already imposed a ban on the import of Russian seafood: crustaceans and caviar. Now the Baltic countries and Sweden insist that the ban should be extended to cod, sprat, herring and other fish.
