9th Circuit Rules Against Wild Fish Conservancy, Supports Southeast Alaska Troll Salmon Fishery
Last Friday the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court ruled against a lower court decision from May 2023 that temporarily halted the Alaska troll salmon fishery, an economic driver in several Southeast Alaska communities.
The three-judge panel ruled that the lower court had “abused its discretion” and “erred by overlooking the severe disruptive consequences” of its action.
