Japan's Yanmar Agrees to Acquire AKVA Group in $611 Million Aquaculture Technology Deal

AKVA Group ASA has agreed to be acquired by Yanmar Holdings Co., Ltd., the Japanese industrial conglomerate, in a recommended voluntary cash offer valuing the Norwegian aquaculture technology supplier at approximately NOK 5.9 billion ($611 million), the companies announced on October 2.
