NAPA Ends Six-Year FIPs, Warns Members May Pull Back From North East Atlantic Pelagic Sourcing

The North Atlantic Pelagic Advocacy Group (NAPA) has formally concluded its two Fisheries Improvement Projects (FIPs) covering North East Atlantic mackerel, blue whiting and Atlanto-Scandian herring, ending six years of work the coalition says failed to secure the sharing arrangements needed to stop overfishing of the three stocks.
