Final Gulf of Mexico Shrimp Landing Figures for 2018 Released
The National Marine Fisheries Service has released its final Gulf of Mexico landings report for 2018. NMFS is reporting December 2018 landings (all species, headless) of 6.49 million pounds, compared to 6.92 million pounds in December 2017. The annual total is 96.5 million pounds, which is 4.1 million pounds, or 4 percent below the January to December 2017 total of 100.6 million pounds.
