Bellingham Wants to Keep Working Waterfront Alive After Reclaiming Fairhaven Shipyard Property
With final repair and clean up work finished by Fairhaven Shipyard, a mainstay of the Bellingham, WA waterfront, the Port of Bellingham is considering their options for keeping the working waterfront active.
Bellingham Herald’s Dave Gallagher reports that the port plans to lease the property for continued marine industrial use in order to support working waterfront jobs.
