Oregon DEQ Issues New Wastewater Permit to Seafood Processors; Companies Wary of Changes
Changes are coming to Oregon seafood processors as the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality issues a new version of the 900-J Seafood Processing Permit. The DEQ issued the new permit on Oct. 1 and it gives processors until October 2021 to submit a complete application to DEQ for coverage under the general permit, according to a DEQ press release.
