ANALYSIS: Russian Exports of Alaska Pollock to EU Continue to Climb

Russia has captured more market share in Europe following a decrease in American pollock fillet production, most of which is traditionally exported to the EU.
Lackluster landings and a burdensome supply of larger-sized fish in the US have indirectly strengthened Russia's position within Europe's pollock market.
